Los Alamos Valley

Los Alamos, which means "The Cottonwoods" in Spanish, remains a strong and successful growing region situated between the Santa Maria and Santa Ynez valleys. The Los Alamos Valley is bounded by the northern Solomon Hills and the southern Purisima Hills. Los Alamos has a temperate climate all its own, a little cooler than the Santa Ynez Valley and a little warmer than Santa Maria Valley.
