'100% Organic Wine' on the main panel which includes the USDA seal is made from organically grown grapes and processed within the organic standards and with only the allowed organic materials from the national materials list, i.e., 100% organic ingredients and no sulfites added.

'Organic Wine' on the main panel which includes the USDA seal is made from organically grown grapes and processed within the organic standards and the allowed national materials list. A minimum of 95% ingredients must be organic with the remaining ingredients added only from the allowed national materials list, which includes the use of sulphur dioxide in wine up to 100 ppm (parts per million).

"Made from Organic Grapes", "Made from Organically grown Grapes", or "Organically Grown Grapes" in the ingredient list may not include the USDA seal. The wine must be made from organically grown grapes and processed within the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms) guidelines but not within the allowed national materials list.
